Issues include whether the circuit court correctly found that the respondent, who was delusional at the time of the crime, could conform his conduct to the requirements of law because he owned a baseball bat for months before using it to kill his caretaker; and whether the crime that prompted the commitment proceedings is sufficient to prove a demonstrated history of criminal behavior, one of the necessary elements for commitment.
