Board of Education of Paris, Kentucky v. Jason Earlywine
Questions include whether a teacher may sue a school board for breach of contract or if, instead, the school board is immune from suit; whether such a suit, if allowed, must be brought in Franklin Circuit Court; and whether the Court of Appeals’ application of KRS Chapter 161 was proper at this venture or, rather, the issues on appeal should have been limited to questions concerning immunity. Oral arguments heard Feb. 13, 2025.
