Exile: 60 Years of Music

Explore the history of Exile, one of America's longest-running bands, from their rock 'n' roll roots in Richmond, Kentucky, to their 1978 pop hit "Kiss You All Over" that topped the Billboard charts to their reinvention as a hit-making country band - this documentary chronicles Exile's story, more than six decades in the making. Frankfort Avenue is the main thoroughfare running through Louisville's Clifton and Crescent Hill neighborhoods. In the 1800s, it was the turnpike where farmers brought their goods from Frankfort and Shelbyville into the city. Lined by a working railroad, Frankfort Avenue is now a bustling business district full of locally-owned boutiques and restaurants, including Bourbons Bistro - a first-of-its-kind concept celebrating 20 years. Sandford Duncan Inn - Duels, Stagecoaches & Kentucky's Triangle Jog

In the film, Michael Breeding explores dueling on the TN/KY border in an area of Simpson County, Kentucky commonly referred to as the Triangular Jog. The 1826 duel between General Sam Houston and General William White, both of TN, is reconstructed. The project features 25 actors in historic 1830s attire. From them, the viewing audience learns what it was like to travel by stagecoach in the early 1800s. The story unfolds to explore taverns and inns of the 1800s to include the Sandford Duncan Inn, an 1822 inn located just south of Franklin, Kentucky. A 2025 production.

"Kentucky Life" explores the work of Eastern Kentucky PRIDE (Personal Responsibility In a Desirable Environment), an initiative started in 1997 by Congressman Hal Rogers and the late General James Bickford. Their vision was to encourage citizens to take responsibility for protecting the environment and provide the education and resources they need to do so. Dave Shuffett meets some of the partners that make the organization a success and gets hands-on and knee-deep along the way. A 2015 KET Production.
