The Ascent
There’s an unusual blue-and-white building that catches the attention of travelers crossing the state line between Northern Kentucky and Cincinnati. The Ascent at Roebling’s Bridge, a curved, asymmetrical structure that houses luxury condominiums, was built in 2006 and has become an icon in the city of Covington.

Homeplace on Green River
In Campellsville, residents have preserved a place that honors history and connects Kentuckians with the land. The 228-acre Homeplace on Green River is a joint project of citizens of Taylor, Green and Adair Counties that has become a valuable public resource known as “Kentucky’s outdoor classroom.”

When Joyce and Gary Keibler purchased their 22-acre Hemmer Hill Farm in Crestwood, Kentucky, they didn’t intend to become working farmers. In fact, they intended to enjoy the open space for their retirement. Instead, they’ve found a niche in local agriculture that keeps them busy throughout the year.
