Yaupon

In Texas, Georgia Pellegrini traces the story of yaupon--North America's only native source of caffeine. Once dismissed as a nuisance, this resilient plant reveals a deeper story: of land out of balance, of restoration through stewardship, and of Indigenous traditions nearly lost. As farmers, scientists, and communities reconnect with yaupon, it becomes a bridge between ecology, and culture.
