Remembering Former Governor Brereton C. Jones

Brereton Jones (June 27, 1939 – September 18, 2023) was a politician from Kentucky. He served as the state’s 58th governor from 1991 to 1995, and as the 50th lieutenant governor of Kentucky from 1987 to 1991. After leaving the governor’s office, he chaired the Kentucky Equine Education Project (KEEP), a lobbying organization for Kentucky’s horse industry.
