Programs include:

Great Escaper on Masterpiece
KET Sunday, November 23 • 9/8pm
KET Wednesday, November • 26 9/8pm
The true story of Bernard Jordan who made global headlines in the summer of 2014. Jordan staged a “great escape” from his care home to join fellow war veterans on a beach in Normandy, commemorating their fallen comrades at the D-Day Landings 70th Anniversary. Bernie’s story captured the imagination of the world as he embodied the defiant, “can-do” spirit of a generation that was fast disappearing.

From Honor to Medal: The Story of Garlin M. Conner
KET Tuesday, November 11 • 4/3pm
The film tells the story of Lt. Garlin Conner, whose exploits in World War II made him among the most decorated soldiers in American history, and the Kentucky community that refused to let his sacrifice be forgotten.
