On the next episode of The Farmer & The Foodie, Maggie and Lindsey go to Maker’s Mark distillery to learn from president Rob Samuels about the company’s efforts to preserve the American white oak used in bourbon barrels. They also visit Star Hill Provisions, the distillery’s restaurant, and meet its executive new chef, AuCo Lai. Recipes include Chef  AuCo’s roasted sunflower and a paper plane cocktail.
