For Release: 03/25/24 6:00 AM

On April 8, 2024, America’s eyes will be glued to the skies for a spectacular solar eclipse that will cast a lunar shadow 115 miles wide as it moves across North America at a staggering 1,500 mph.

NOVA’s cameras follow scientists as they prepare new experiments that will help make this one of the most studied solar eclipses in history.
