‘Living With Landslides’ examines what’s causing collapsing earth in Northern Kentucky and Cincinnati

For Release: 08/30/23 8:42 AM

Take a deep dive into the history of Cincinnati’s famous hills and discover what’s leading to their slow-motion collapse in Living With Landslides, an independent documentary by Laure Quinlivan.

The film examines what triggers landslides, exacerbated by development and intense rainstorms, and what it takes to stabilize threatened terrain. Hear from geological experts as well as homeowners, some of whom discovered that their property insurance doesn’t always cover landslides, leaving them on the hook for property damages.
