KET’s Summer Celebration commemorates America’s 250th anniversary

For Release: 05/13/26 2:42 PM

KET’s 38th annual Summer Celebration, Cheers to 250 Years, will return to Donamire Farm in Lexington on Saturday, June 6, from 7:00 – 11:00 pm. Hosted by Mira Ball and Honorary Chair Dr. Ryan Quarles, president of KCTCS, guests are invited to wave the stars and stripes in support of KET’s mission and services.

Much more than a fun party, Summer Celebration is KET’s signature statewide fundraiser and the largest single-day source of community support. More than 1,000 business, government, education, health and civic leaders are expected. The evening will include dinner, an open bar, dancing to The Crashers, summer festive attire or patriotic costumes — and no speeches!

A mobile auction will be open to anyone, everywhere beginning June 1 at KET.org/SummerCelebration. More than 200 items are available, including an African safari and other beach, ski and mountain vacations; sports packages; concert tickets; horse farm and bourbon experiences; dine-arounds; and fine jewelry, furnishings, fun for the family and more.

Tickets are $200 per person or $1,800 for a reserved table of eight. Proceeds benefit KET programs and services.

For tickets, visit KET.org/SummerCelebration or call 1-800-866-0366.
