KET to host free screening of Ken Burns’ ‘The American Revolution’ in Frankfort

To celebrate America’s 250th anniversary and Kentucky History Day, KET, in partnership with the Kentucky Historical Society and the America250KY Commission, presents a free screening of Ken Burns’ The American Revolution in the Brown-Forman room of the Thomas D. Clark Center for Kentucky History on Saturday, June 6 at 11:30 am. 

The event will feature a one-hour screening followed by a thoughtful discussion moderated by Stephanie Lang, Ph.D. from the Kentucky Historical Society. The panelists include Brad Wood, Ph.D., professor of history at Eastern Kentucky University and Andrea Sutherland, Ph.D., professor of history at Northern Kentucky University.
