For Release: 08/06/25 2:09 PM

FOR RELEASE: August 6, 2025

KET was recently awarded a $22,000 educational technology grant from AT&T to be used to support essential digital literacy skills. Funds contributed by AT&T will be used to purchase tablets and other technology to equip a mobile version of the KET Media Lab, which will facilitate a series of at least ten in-person digital literacy workshops held throughout the Commonwealth during the upcoming school year.

The mobile KET Media Lab will bring technology across Kentucky to offer digital literacy education helping bridge the digital divide and supporting equitable access to education and technology for underserved Kentucky districts and families.

A previous award from AT&T helped fund the existing Media Lab at the KET Network Center in Lexington.
