For Release: 03/05/24 10:45 AM
On this episode of Kentucky Life, host Chip Polston explores a northern Wisconsin town that celebrates a unique “Kentuck Days Festival,” checks out the fast-paced action of the ROCK, also known as the Roller Derby of Central Kentucky, whose uniforms may be pink and black but whose handiwork is black and blue; visits Riverside, the Farnsley-Moreman Landing farm house along the banks of the Ohio River, which stands as a testament to the role agriculture played in Kentucky’s history; and remembers the life of Appalachian healthcare pioneer Eula Hall, who served the uninsured in Eastern Kentucky.
