The average person can find a wealth of medical information and research online—but is it all equally credible? On this episode of Kentucky Health, host Dr. Wayne Tuckson welcomes Dr. Susan Galandiuk, editor-in-chief of the journal Diseases of the Colon and Rectum, to discuss how reputable scientific research studies are conducted, evaluated and published; and offer suggestions for how savvy consumers can evaluate medical information on the internet.

Kentucky Health: Medical Information: Discerning the Wheat from the Chaff episode airs Sunday, Nov. 14, at 12:30 pm/11:30 am on KET and Monday, Nov. 15, at 2/1 pm on KET2.
