This Presidents’ Day, get to know the presidents of the city’s largest university and college. 

One year since taking office as president at the University of Louisville, Kim Schatzel talks about her corporate background, her previous jobs – including a stint on the assembly line at Ford – and what brought her to Louisville.  

Ty Handy, president of Jefferson Community and Technical College, offers an inside look at how JCTC is changing the game when it comes to higher education and how the school and larger city is attracting new students to town.
