For Release: 09/23/24 10:17 AM

The idea of bourbon tourism has been around for more than a hundred years, but it’s only in the last few decades that ‘bourbonism’ has started booming. From the Urban Bourbon Trail to bourbon-themed music festivals, Louisville is now internationally recognized for its thriving bourbon economy.

On this episode of Inside Louisville, Kelsey Starks talks to the people who are pouring the drinks and pulling the strings behind the scenes, including Elizabeth McCall, the first female master distiller at Woodford Reserve, who talks about the rise of women in this historically male-dominated industry.
