In 1993, 21-year-old Mary Byron was murdered by her estranged ex-boyfriend. This local tragedy has led to positive changes to help other victims of domestic abuse. Host Kelsey Starks explores the impact and legacy of Mary Byron, from the establishment of the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law Mary Byron Center and Endowed Chair in Intimate Partner Violence to the nationally renowned nonprofit, the Mary Byron Project.
