On the next Great Conversations, U.S. Rep. Jamie Raskin, author of Unthinkable: Trauma, Truth, and the Trials of American Democracy sits down for a discussion with Fiona Hill, a senior fellow at The Brooking Institution and author of There Is Nothing for You Here: Finding Opportunity in the Twenty-First Century.

Great Conversations: Jamie Raskin and Fiona Hill is scheduled to air on Sunday, Feb. 13, at 2/1 pm on KET.

Raskin, a former constitutional law professor, represents Maryland’s 8th Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives. His memoir Unthinkable tells the story of the 45 days at the start of 2021 that permanently changed Raskin’s life as he confronted the painful loss of his son to suicide and the Jan. 6 insurrection at the U.S. Capitol.

Hill was the key impeachment witness during the U.S. House of Representatives Trump-Ukraine impeachment inquiry. She was the Senior Director of European and Russian Affairs at the U. S. National Security Council and has served under three presidents, two Republicans and one Democrat. Her memoir There Is Nothing for You Here reveals how declining opportunity has set America on the grim path of modern Russia.
