37th annual Summer Celebration reminds us there’s No Place Like Home
For Release: 05/08/25 11:14 AM
Follow the yellow brick road for a technicolor dreamscape of discovery, adventure and fun at No Place Like Home, KET’s 37th annual Summer Celebration. Hosted by Fairy Godmother Mira Ball and honorary chair Lexington Mayor Linda Gorton, who will be commemorating 250Lex ”Come Home” month, the fundraising event takes place Saturday, June 7, at Donamire Farm beginning at 7pm.
Much more than a fun party, Summer Celebration is KET’s signature statewide fundraiser. More than 1,000 business, government, education, health and civic leaders are expected. The magic behind the curtain includes endless hospitality, wicked dancing to The Crashers, an Emerald City Auction, summer festive or theme attire — and no speeches!
The mobile auction is open to anyone beginning June 2 at KET.org/SummerCelebration. More than 200 items are available, including beach, ski and mountain vacations, golf outings, an African safari, a European Viking cruise, concert tickets, guided distillery tours, fine jewelry, furnishings, fun for the family, an assortment of spa packages, and more.
Tickets are $200 per person or $1,800 for a reserved table for eight. Proceeds benefit KET programs and services.
For reservations: KET.org/SummerCelebration or 1-800-866-0366.
