Discover how America’s founding turned the world upside-down with a highlight screening of The American Revolution, a six-part, twelve-hour documentary from Ken Burns. Thirteen British colonies on the Atlantic Coast rose in rebellion, won their independence, and established a new form of government that radically reshaped the continent and inspired democratic movements around the globe.
Following the highlight screening, enjoy a thoughtful discussion from local historians moderated by Dr. Stephanie Lang, Editor, The Register of the Kentucky Historical Society. Panelists include:
• Dr. Tom Matijasic
• Dr. Brittany Goetting
