Be My Neighbor Day

Come “Be My Neighbor” in Louisville! Join KET on Sunday, Oct. 13, from 1 to 4 pm at Broad Run Park in Louisville for the 3rd annual “Be My Neighbor Day.” This free family event — organized in partnership with PNC Bank and Fred Rogers Productions — builds on the values and themes presented in in Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood and introduces children to caring neighbors and community helpers while teaching them the importance of giving back. KET is proud to partner with PNC’s Grow Up Great early childhood initiative as they celebrate their 15th anniversary.

- Music Corner featuring an instrument wall, musical play, and a live performance by Evan and Vanessa

- Mister Rogers’ Sweater Drive
- Nature & Wildlife Corner featuring the Louisville Astronomical Society, Plant-a-Seedling, and Second Chances Wildlife Center
- PNC Mobile Learning Adventure
- Quiet Tent with iPads and award-winning PBS apps
