‘Kentucky Life’ explores the disco ball’s history, meets a Victorian pioneer and more

In a new episode of Kentucky Life, host Chip Polston explores the disco ball’s Kentucky roots by diving into its manufacturing history in Louisville. He also talks with a local artist who is keeping the tradition alive.
The program also heads to Bowling Green to introduce viewers to Sarah Frances Price, a botanist and scientific illustrator who paved the way for future generations of curious minds.
Next, Polston visits the mountains to explore the Cumberland Gap and its vital role in Kentucky’s history.
Finally, the program will provide an in-depth look at Transylvania University, which was instrumental in the growth of Lexington and the University of Kentucky.
