Rock That Uke

William Preston Robertson and Pikeville native Sean Anderson present a funky, curiously philosophical cinematic essay examining the near-mystical allure of the four-stringed underdog of the musical world-the ukulele. A recent surge of alternative, post-punk musicians have taken up the instrument and incorporated it into raucous and irreverent original compositions. Narrated by Holly Hunter, the film was supported in part by the KET Fund for Independent Production.
