A new KET program explores potential weather-related dangers in the spring and summer and how Kentuckians can prepare themselves and their homes for the coming seasons. In Severe Weather: Staying Safe 2026, a panel of climate experts, meteorologists and emergency management experts will discuss past severe weather events in Kentucky, the state’s changing weather patterns and precautions Kentuckians can take to guard against damage this year.
