First, Kentucky Life sets off for some freewheeling fun on two wheels in London, which has been recognized as the Cycling Capital of Kentucky, drawing riders from across the globe.
Then, Kentucky Life reaches into its archives for this 2009 Memory segment, one close to former host Dave Shuffett’s heart, when he opened up about the passing of his father and the life lessons he learned from him.
And lastly, Kentucky Life travels to Mays Lick in Mason County, where the community is striving to restore a historic African-American school, which first opened its doors in 1921, and continues to be a source of pride.
Kentucky Life is a KET production, produced by Chelsea Gorham. Segment producers for this episode are Jim Voskuhl, Tom Thurman, and Valerie Trimble.
