Captain William Clark of Lewis and Clark was the younger brother of Louisville founder George Rogers Clark. As part of the bicentennial celebration of the Lewis and Clark expedition, this docudrama looks back over the lives of the two brothers and their sister, Lucy Clark Croghan. Staged at the Croghan home, Locust Grove in Louisville, it was written and performed by Mandy Dick, Mel Hankla, and Bob Pilkington. A 2002 KET production.

Kentucky has one of the highest rates in the nation of children being raised by grandparents and other relatives, also known as kinship care. Renee and her guests discuss what research tells us about the financial, emotional, and legal challenges that kinship care poses. I.D. Stamper, a master dulcimer builder and player from Letcher County, Ky., and John McCutcheon, a young musician, play together, swap tunes, discuss musical traditions, and demonstrate the difference between hammered and mountain-style dulcimer. And, a portrait of John Jacob Niles, the adding machine repairman who came to eastern Kentucky in 1909 and became a much-noted "arranger, expander, collector, recorder, and performer" of traditional Appalachian ballads. The film shows Niles in concert, at home, at work arranging his music, and explaining the historical place of balladry in American music. A 2011 Production.

From 1942 to 1956, Kentucky city park systems were segregated by state mandate. This program takes a look at seven historically Black parks and explores how the African-American communities in Kentucky used the public spaces of parks to construct uplifting community identities despite segregation.
