The two friends travel the state, where they draw inspiration from the farms, ingredients and people they encounter. Then they bring what they've learned into the kitchen to create delicious and approachable recipes.

Each episode wraps up with Maggie, Lindsey, and the friends they’ve met sitting down and enjoying a meal together — underscoring The Farmer & The Foodie's mantra that "good food is meant to be shared."

Lindsey McClave is a food and wine writer and self-taught home cook with a knack for creating original recipes with fresh, locally-sourced ingredients.

Maggie Keith is the owner and operator of Foxhollow Farm and a passionate advocate for Kentucky farmland.

Maggie joins local fisherman Marcus on his boat and helps catch his daily carp haul, which Lindsey fries and serves with squash soup.
