Maurer appears courtesy of the National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame. The Legacy of Black Horsemen\, an hour-long historical documentary\, tells the stories of Black jockeys\, trainers\, owners\, grooms\, and exercisers in the 1800s whose contributions helped lay the foundation for the Thoroughbred industry. SUMMARY:Secrets of the Dead: The Herculaneum Scrolls
DESCRIPTION:Join us!\nMaking headlines worldwide\, the University of Kentucky’s Dr. Brent Seales and his team of computer scientists set out on a mission to read the 2\,000-year-old carbonized scrolls found in the remains of a villa in Herculaneum. But can particle physics and AI finally reveal what the scrolls say? \nKET will be hosting a screening of Secrets of the Dead: The Herculaneum Scrolls at The Kentucky Historical Society\, Brown-Forman Room. Dr. Seales will lead a discussion after the screening. \nDue to historic flooding in Frankfort\, the event originally planned for April 10 has been rescheduled for Wednesday\, May 14th\, 6:30 – 8 pm EDT. \nThis event is free\, but registration is required. \nExplore more great history programming at KET.org/History. \n\n\nRegistration\n\n\n\n\n\nEmail(Required) \n\n \n \n\nFirst Name(Required) \n\n\nLast Name(Required) \n\n\nNumber of Seats(Required) \n1234

SUMMARY:February Fanfare 2026
DESCRIPTION:King and Queen of HeartsPrewitt Lane and Diane Medley\n\n\n\nHonorary Chairs Diane Medley and Prewitt Lane join us in thanking you for helping make KET’s February Fanfare a fun evening filled with heart in support of our mission to educate\, connect and inspire.  \nThere is so much to love about KET that a sold-out crowd of some 275 guests celebrated with us on Valentine’s Day at The Olmsted—draped in roses\, candles and good cheer. \nThe response to the silent and live auctions and mission appeal was so heartwarming\, then Tony and the Tan Lines turned up the heat on the dance floor. \nThank you for believing in KET and for sharing your love. \n\n\n\nPhoto album\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nEvent Sponsors\nPlatinum Sponsors: \nCary Brown & Steven Epstein \nGold Sponsors: \n\n\n\n\nSpecialty Bar Sponsor: \n\nSilver Sponsors: \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nMartini Bar Sponsor: \n\nBronze Sponsors: \n\n415 Group\nBim Group\nBaptist Health\nCentral Bank & Trust\nCherry Bekaert\nBill and Barbara Juckett\nKeller-Williams Realty\nMcBrayer PLLC\nSeven Counties Services\nTilford Dobbins & Schmidt PLLC
