SUMMARY:2019 Summer Celebration Was Out of This World!
DESCRIPTION:KET’s 31st annual Summer Celebration on June 7 at Donamire Farm marked 50 years since that first giant leap for mankind and the dedication of KET as a “space-age communication device.” \nOver the moon costumes\, Lunar rovers\, NASA satellites\, telescopes and a mobile planetarium created the atmosphere\, while 300 discoveries in the Big Bang Bids auction and Space Jams by the Jimmy Church Band highlighted the fun. Many thanks to this year’s sponsors\, volunteers and some 1\,039 explorers in attendance who helped launch KET’s next half-century of service. \nThe success of Summer Celebration is a tribute to those who believe in the power of KET to explore new frontiers\, fuel imagination\, and lift up a world of intelligence.
