KET is Kentucky’s only statewide media organization, serving more than one million people each week with programs and services that educate, inform, and inspire. In addition to broadcasting PBS programming, KET produces a variety of award-winning local productions. KET also creates and provides highly regarded instructional resources, reaching students and educators throughout Kentucky and the nation.

Senior Director, Education

Expectations:

Independent reps are expected to bring energy and commitment to the position in order to:

Attain and surpass sales goals
Build and maintain customer relationships with a variety of educational and training programs to grow market
Create and execute strategic plans for growth in sales within assigned territory
Be diligent and organized in communication and follow-through
Attend periodic web-based sales training
Participate occasionally in promotional events and conferences to represent KET

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Required:

Independent reps should exhibit the following skills for success:

Prior experience in sales or education
Outstanding written and oral communication skills
Computer literacy, particularly Microsoft software suite
Excellent presentation skills
Valid driver’s license and approved background check
