Visit the One to One with Bill Goodman site: www.ket.org/onetoone/
On location in Frankfort, Bill Goodman speaks with Grover Norquist, president of Americans for Tax Reform (ATR) on the next One to One. The program airs Sunday, July 20 at 2/1 p.m. CT on KET1 and Tuesday, July 22 at 7:30/6:30 p.m. CT on KET2.

Norquist, who grew up in Weston, Mass., was educated at Harvard University. He founded ATR in 1985, at the request of President Ronald Reagan, and has headed the organization ever since.

Americans for Tax Reform, Norquist says, is a coalition of taxpayer groups, individuals and businesses opposed to higher taxes at the federal, state and local levels. The organization promotes simpler, lower taxes and coordinates the Taxpayer Protection Pledge, which asks all candidates for federal and state office to commit themselves in writing to oppose all tax increases.

Norquist also discusses his new book, Leave Us Alone: Getting the Government's Hands Off Our Money, Our Guns, Our Lives, which details his vision for political conservatives.

One to One with Bill Goodman is a KET production, produced by Bill Goodman and Cindy Asher. Following the broadcast, One to One is available for on-demand videostream viewing at www.ket.org/onetoone and podcasting at www.ket.org/rss.
